Keeping-in mind the needs of the market, SISM offers a uniquely structured way to get a Major as well as a Minor (DUAL) Specialization in PGDM program simultaneously. The Cross Functional learning with Major and Minor (DUAL) Specializations in SISM’s PGDM program can effectively widen the Industry Sector and Enhance the career options for the students.
Student has an option to choose Specialization based on Two Models:
(A) General PGDM | With Only Core Specialization
(B) Dual PGDM Specialization | With Core & Minor Specializations

DUAL PGDM SPECIALIZATION | CORE/MAJOR & MINOR SPECIALIZATIONS
Student will select Dual Specialization option where:
- Student will choose 1 Core Elective from 09 In-Demand Specializations. Student will study 5 Subjects from chosen Core Elective in Semester 3.
- Student will choose 1 Minor Elective from Marketing Management, Digital Marketing, Financial Management, Human Resource Management and Operations Management.
- Student will study 3 Subjects from chosen Minor Elective. Apart from 5 Core Specialization Subjects
- Student will study 1 Minor Specialization Subject in Semester 3
- Remaining 2 Minor Specialization Subjects in Semester 4.

ILLUSTRATION FOR DUAL SPECIALIZATION
If a student is interested in Finance and Marketing as a specialization; he/she should select One specialization as Core/Major and Other specialization as Minor. For e.g.; If student has selected “Finance” as CORE/MAJOR Specialization, then “Marketing” would be MINOR Specialization.
In this case, Student will study 5 Subjects of Finance Specialization and 1 Subject of Marketing Specialization in Module 3 and Remaining 2 Subjects of Marketing Specialization in Module 4.
